Stand Together: Defeat States’ Reps that are Usurping our Right to Bear Arms

February 14, 2013

While the current administration is losing the battle against our Second Amendment rights on the federal level, several states’ representatives are paying no regard to our Constitution and having better success.  For this reason, we must stay vocal and active in our efforts to protect our rights.  There’s no rule that says you have to live in states such as New York, California or Colorado in order to remind representatives from those states what the Constitution says, and why we have it.  Our freedom is under attack in a state-by-state gross infringement on our natural right to protect ourselves and our families.  Mail letters, and call and email representatives in these and other states and remind them that we are a free people.

Here’s just a few instances of spectacular disregard for our right to bear arms at the state level:

Now is the time to join as Americans in support of our right to keep and bear arms.  This right was re-affirmed in the 2008 landmark Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller.  This is not our privilege – It is our right, and together we must protect it.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Bruce Willis says he’s  against new gun control laws that could infringe on Second Amendment rights. The “Die Hard” star also dismisses any link between Hollywood  shootouts and real-life gun violence.

“I think that you can’t start to pick apart anything out of the Bill of  Rights without thinking that it’s all going to become undone,” Willis  told The Associated Press in a recent interview while promoting his latest film, “A Good Day To Die Hard.” “If you take one out or change one law, then why  wouldn’t they take all your rights away from you?”
